This antique teak double door was sourced in Rajasthan a—one of the defining colors of traditional architectural woodwork across northern India. Doors of this sort are classic elements of Rajasthani architecture, often seen in havelis and courtyard homes. 

Hand-forged iron and brass straps, rivets, and original ring pulls run across the door’s paneled construction, each piece of hardware showing the irregularities and tool marks of old Indian metalwork. The door has been cleaned while preserving its patina, allowing the texture, weathering, and layered character to remain intact.

While the specific history of the piece is unknown, its scale, hardware patterning, and construction style are typical of residential courtyard doors found throughout Rajasthan.
