Sizing guide

This antique Indian door and frame was hand-carved from solid hardwood and once served as part of a traditional haveli residence in western India. Its deeply paneled construction, hand-forged hardware, and layered patina reflect decades of use and craftsmanship that are nearly impossible to reproduce today.

The architectural frame features subtle carved detailing and sculptural finials, while the door itself retains its original ironwork, ring pulls, and weathered surface texture. The lower metal-clad panels show authentic age and wear consistent with historic courtyard and compound doors from Rajasthan.

Equally functional as an architectural statement or collectible artifact, this piece works beautifully as:

  • a wine room or pantry entry,
  • a library or study door,
  • a primary suite vestibule,
  • or a mounted decorative installation.

Unlike heavily restored reproductions, this door retains the irregularities, oxidation, movement, and quiet imperfections that give genuine antique architectural elements their depth and presence.

A striking one-of-a-kind piece that brings warmth, history, and architectural character into contemporary interiors.
