These vintage brick molds were once used in India for hand-forming clay bricks, carrying the wear, texture, and imperfections of decades of practical use. What sets this example apart are the hand-carved floral motifs along the exterior — subtle decorative details that transform a utilitarian object into a sculptural accent piece.
Crafted from aged wood with metal corner banding, each mold has a rich patina developed through years of handling, exposure, and use. The weathered surface, softened edges, and tonal variation give the piece an authenticity that cannot be replicated by newly manufactured decor.
Today, these molds make versatile styling objects throughout the home. Use them as tabletop organizers, catchalls for keys and mail, shelf styling accents, planters for small succulents, or as layered decorative objects in kitchens, bathrooms, and living spaces. Their compact scale and warm, aged character allow them to work beautifully in both contemporary and collected interiors.
Each piece is slightly unique, with variations in carving, wood tone, wear, and markings that reflect its handmade origins and working history.
