Each tile is chiseled and shaped by hand, it's fired using traditional techniques that create the soft surface variation, subtle waviness, and depth of color Zellige is known for. No two tiles are ever exactly alike, and that is precisely what makes Zellige so captivating: uneven edges, gentle texture, and small glaze drips that reveal the artisan’s hand.
